1. Five Nights of Lights
Starting 13th November
This year Exeter will celebrate the start of the Christmas season with a special five-day event series, Five Nights of Lights. Starting on Wednesday 13th November, the festive event will see Christmas lights go live in all quarters of the city, with accompanying street entertainment, live music and one-off events.
2. Christmas Market on Cathedral Green
16th November - 19th December
Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market was a finalist at the 2018 Exeter Living Awards for ‘Best Event’ and the bar ‘The Cathedral Tavern’ won the award for the best bar.
Featuring a selection of crafts, fresh food and a bustling atmosphere helped by delicious food stalls and Bavarian-style bars, Exeter Cathedral Christmas Market is inspired by German Christmas markets.
3. Christmas Shopping Fayre at Westpoint
25th November - 27th November
Every year, Westpoint is transformed into an Aladdin's cave full of wonderful gift ideas and essential Christmas items, for 3 days of festive shopping.
This festive shopping event is simply the best you will find anywhere in the South West!
4. The Crealy Christmas Spectacular
30th November - 24th December
The Crealy Christmas Spectacular is set to be better than ever with an all-new Christmas on Ice Show.
Featuring Santa’s Toy Factory Santa’s Magical Show Time, Rudy's Reindeer Food Making Station and Mary Christmas' Bakery, every child will also get to choose their very own present to take home from thousands of wonderful hand-picked toys and gifts.
5. Snow White at Barnfield Theatre
7th December - 1st January
Celebrating 10 years of professional pantomime in the heart of the city, Exeter presents Snow White as this year's panto.
With a star cast, silly slapstick, enchanting magical effects, great singing and eye-popping costume, Snow White will delight the whole family!
With afternoon and evening performances available, this year's panto is not one to be missed.
