Join in the fun by exploring the Pumpkin Trail and searching for hidden pumpkins along the way. Children over three who complete the trail will receive a FREE Halloween gift, and little ones under three will also get a FREE Halloween treat. Take a delightful ride around Magic Wood on the miniature railway, where you’ll encounter cheeky characters who have been busy decorating their village with ghosts, pumpkins, and skeletons!

Crealy's October Spook-fest is back this Halloween, claiming the title of Devon’s spookiest day out! This year, they’re introducing new spooky attractions for 2024, including a FREE pumpkin for every child. Dare to walk through the Creaky Hotel, but be careful—there’s always someone watching! Test your courage in the Scarecrow Maze and see if you can find your way out. And don’t miss Sooty, Sweep, and Soo as they embrace the Halloween spirit in their exciting Halloween Show.

Get cosy and visit Powderham Castle to carve your very own pumpkin! For just £3 per pumpkin, you’ll have a one-hour session to craft your unique masterpiece to take home. They provide all the carving kits, so just bundle up and let your creativity shine! Don’t miss out on the harvest festivities this October half-term, with hot drinks and tasty treats available. Plus, feel free to bring your four-legged friends along for the fun!

Embrace the spooky spirit this half-term with the Halloween Pumpkin Trail at Bicton Botanical Gardens! Kids can follow a special sheet as they wander through the park, searching for pumpkins and noting the hidden letters. Unscramble these letters to uncover a secret Halloween-themed word for a chance to win an exclusive Bicton colouring-in prize! Normal admission fees apply, with no extra cost for annual pass holders. While you’re there, don’t forget that children can also enter the Bicton Colouring-In Competition!
Spooky adventures at The Donkey Sanctuary

Head over to the Donkey Sanctuary for their latest spooky adventure! Can you figure out what a ‘trick’ or ‘treat’ looks like for the donkeys? Search for items hidden under pumpkins and take your guess—will it be a trick or a treat? For just £5 per trail, you’ll receive a prize upon completion. Plus, enjoy the new Bat Beacon interactive exhibition, play area, daily talks, scenic walks, engaging displays, and plenty of adorable donkeys to meet. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome, too!
